Cornelius Pienaah is a PhD candidate in Department of Geography and Environment at the Faculty of Social Science, Western University. He is interested in climate change-related research and nature-based solutions within the context of Sub-Saharan Africa, especially Ghana. Using integrated resource management systems, such as the Community Resource Management Area (CREMA) model, he aims to understand climate change impacts to inform holistic, adaptable, and efficient approaches to mitigating and adapting to climate change. At the WeCLISH Centre, Cornelius expects to engage with policymakers, industry stakeholders, and local communities to translate his research into actionable policies and sustainable practices.
